internet is fixed, turned out it was some strange virus or system crash that killed all my networking capabilities. My computer could SEE the network, it just couldnt do anything with it.
after much stuffing around and component checking later, a reformat that took me a grand total of 8 hours (:p, im serious) fixed the problem.
unfortunately, it wasnt in time to properly pwn some noobs hehehehe
